The Levante costs $1,900 more, but offers heated seats as standard. The standard seats in the Levante offer additional adjustability, as well as a memory function for the driver. Better seats, memory, and heat are available on the Cayenne Coupe – but will cost you an additional $2,000 more.
Finally, to get a high-performance suspension with electronic damping, you’ll spend an extra $2,170 on the Cayenne Coupe to get something comparable to what comes standard on the Levante – meaning that once you equip the Cayenne to the level of a standard Levante – the Levante is actually less expensive. Dollar for dollar, the Maserati Levante clearly offers more performance, more comfort, and more utility than the Porsche Cayenne Coupe.

In addition, there are things you can’t get on the BMW X6 xDrive40i at any price – like an electronically adjustable performance suspension and more horsepower. You’d have to step up to a higher trim of the BMW X6 to get that extra performance – which ultimately makes the BMW X6 a more expensive choice.
There’s something to be said for having a unique, exclusive vehicle like the Maserati Levante compared to something like the BMW X6. The BMW X6 is a good car, but it’s also very common compared to the Maserati – and you’re far more likely to find copies of yourself in the parking lot. There’s a price to pay for exclusivity, but thankfully, in this case, that price includes an exotic engine hand-built at the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy.

The Maserati Levante Trofeo has a whopping 80 more horsepower than the Audi SQ7, although the SQ7 has a bit more peak torque. However, that doesn’t matter for much, as the Levante Trofeo boasts a substantially higher top speed – and it’s half a second faster to 60 miles per hour, too. The Maserati Trofeo also has larger wheels than the Audi SQ7, which show off the bright painted brake calipers well. Those painted brake calipers provide a great high-performance look, and they are standard on the Maserati Levante Trofeo.
